The mission of Duffle Bags and More is to volunteer our time and talents to provide sturdy duffle bags and additional support for children in the foster care system. Additionally, we embrace projects where we support children and adults in need in our community.

About
Who We Are
We’re over 200 volunteers, donors, and friends who are working to provide a measure of dignity to those in need.
Our History
This effort began in 2018, under the auspices of the Advisory Board to Delaware Volunteer 50+. In 2023, Duffle Bags and More was incorporated in the state of Delaware, established a corporate Board of Directors and Officers, and received non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service. We have over 200 Volunteers, Donors, and Friends.
What We Do
How We Make A Difference
We make duffle bags and toiletry bags. Most of these go to children entering foster care. Often these children are given a trash bag to use to move their belongings. Our hope and belief is that having a sturdy duffle bag will lessen their discomfort in such a stressful moment. We also collect toiletries so that each child has a age- and gender-appropriate set of toiletries to use in their new foster home.
